7 Islands of History and Nature
We recommend an overnight visit the day before your
cruise in Cefalu which is 75 Km. East of Palermo on
the Island of Sicily. Cefalu is a scenic historic town
with a port and a beautiful long beach. One of the great
undiscovered jewels of the Mediterranean. Enjoy an evening
stroll through the historic old town, where you can
start shopping for some nice Sicilian pottery, crafts
and souvenirs, or enjoy a cool drink in one of Piazza’s.
You can choose a waterfront restaurant or a cosy “
Trattoria or Pizzeria” inside the alleys of the
old town for your dinner ashore.
SEVEN DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1
Join your yacht at midday [12.o'clock] in Cefalu’
harbour. After a welcome aboard lunch and meeting your
crew, they will go through a safety briefing and have
a discussion about the suggested itinerary for your
weeks cruise. The first sail is to Salina, approximately
5-6 hours bringing you in to the heart of the Aeolian
Islands. Although long it is usually a comfortable reach
across calm seas. Should the weather be rough then you
can take the hydrofoil and meet the yacht in Salina.
Some the group may chose to take the fast ferry while
some go for a long brisk sail. Enjoy a delicious meal
ashore at one the local waterfront restaurants. Take
an early evening stroll along the waterfront shores
viewing the quant little houses surrounded by the green
heather and the fuchsia of the bougainvilleas

of your cruise with the colors of the Tyrrhenian and
may be some dolphin jumping in front of the bow while
sailing through the Aeolian Island. Feast on a gorgeous
seafood dinner or Sicilian meal on board in a calm tranquil
bay. Finishing the evening lying on the trampolines
and counting the shooting stars, making a wish on each
one you see.

rocks. In the afternoon take a walk inside the little
village of Basiluzzo with the typical Italian white
Eolian houses and enjoy some shopping at the local craft
stores. Relax and enjoy an aperitif ashore before coming
back to the boat for dinner in true Italian style. After

famous discothèque above the harbour.
